Farnham Police Station
October 2014
Farnham Police Station is situated on the edge of the town centre, alongside the river Wey. Built in 1963, the station has a large car park to the rear, with several garages that are connected to the main building. On the other side of the car park is six semi-detached houses that now lie derelict as they were used as accommodation by officers stationed there.
The station closed in 2012 after being earmarked for closer in 2011 alongside another fourteen stations. The reason was because they were being under-used, sometimes only receiving one visitor a day. |
