Leisure

"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what others say you cannot do."
Walter Bagehot

The Broadway Cinema - Bristol
Somewhat of a time warp inside, as I was hoping, mainly because of all the ash trays on the bingo tables and on the upstairs seating. Most still had old butts still residing in them. The upstairs seating was really the most incredible part of it this cinema. It felt untouched. Very dusty and probably not been used for decades.

The Palladium Cinema - Midsomer Norton
One of the oldest cinemas in the country. Not a huge amount left of this one but still has a nice charm about it. It has recently been bought by Wetherspoons, so it'll soon be converted into a pub/restaurant.

Odeon Cinema Portsmouth
Closed in 2008 this incredible four screen cinema lies dormant and decaying behind a small supermarket. My very first cinema and it did not disappoint. A great place to visit.

Bristol Ice Rink
This ice rink closed in October 2012 and had lain derelict ever since. It was as if the staff had just left. Lights were still on, skates still in their racks and paper work and IDs still left on desks. Having skated there myself this explore was an incredible one for me.

Bristol North Baths
A beautiful Grade II listed swimming pool. Visited with two others, this was one of the first sited that I ever explored.

Picture
Oriental City
I'd never visited a site quite like this, it felt like being in a zombie film!
