"Who wants a world where the guarantee of freedom from starvation means the risk of death from boredom?"
Raoul Vaneigem

Picture
Bletchley Park - G Block
The work carried out here during WW2 played a crucial role in securing the allies victory over Germany. Decrypting the enigma code was the most biggest thing that occurred here by the geniuses, principally Alan Turing, involved. G block still remains here but is in a bad state of disrepair. Nonetheless, it's an incredible experience wondering around it's corridors envisaging its past during those tense years of the second world war.

Picture
Wentworth D-Day Control Bunker
A set of three tunnels (two very large and one smaller in diameter) running in parallel that were used during WW2 and home of GHQ Signals. It's built underneath Wentworth estate and despite stripped out, it's still great to have a look around.

Picture
Avro Shackleton MR3
This Avro Shackleton, tail number WR985, currently lies sadly neglected within Long Marston airfield. Some beautiful decay on this ex-RAF maritime patrol aircraft.

RAF Greenham Common (GAMA)
Greenham common was for me a surreal and rather sobering explore. Remembering that at full capacity it used to hold about 96 nuclear warheads and the missiles that delivered them. It would of played a crucial role in Cold War had buttons of been pressed. It's a beautiful places, unlike anything else I've seen.

Picture
Farleigh Down Tunnel
One of three Central Ammunition Depots built before the outbreak of WW2. Still a pretty interesting interesting place to see despite obviously being used as a bit of a party location. The tunnel stretches over a mile at a hefty gradient.

Picture
Royal Military Academy Woolwich
Had the chance to explore this very historical building that is unfortunately starting to be redeveloped. Nonetheless it was great to see lots of old signage interior details still in place.

Hallen ROC Post
It's rare to find an ROC post in good condition but this one was in immaculate condition back in 2011. No water or fire damage and still containing lots of its original artefacts. I plan to give this a revisit to see how it is 4 years later.
